Manage My Own Purchase Orders

Now you can grant users the "Manage my own purchase orders" user right, which enables them to act as a buyer for the purchase orders related to their own purchase requisitions. Such users have access to Search > Purchase Orders  and My Tasks > Purchase Orders views to search, view, and edit orders. Users can also navigate from Related Documents to the purchase orders related to their own requests.

Setup in the P2P system:

The administrator grants the Purchase module's user the "Manage my own purchase orders" user right in P2P Administration.

Usage:

Purchase orders are processed either by performing purchase order tasks on the My Tasks page or managing them on the Search page.

As a user with the "Manage my own purchase orders" user right, you have access to Search > Purchase Orders view. You can see all the purchase orders which are created based on the purchase requisitions that you have created. If you need to change email orders, do it on the Search page.

In the My Tasks > Purchase Orders view, you see all the tasks related to the purchase orders which are created based on the purchase requisitions that you have created. Purchase order tasks (Resend, Acknowledge, Remove, Approve) are created only for XML orders.

Note! Optimistic locking for purchase orders is not yet in place.
