Dear customers, we are pleased to inform you of the changes introduced by Peppol in the November 2025 release.
Official release notes can be found here and here. These changes come into effect on 23 February 2026.
Main changes to Peppol BIS 3.0 Invoice and Cr edit note:
- Added rule PEPPOL-COMMON-R052, which checks that the Danish Chamber of Commerce number (P) consists of exactly eight characters and contains only digits.
- Added rule PEPPOL-COMMON-R053, which checks that the Danish ERSTORG number (SE) is ten characters long, starts with “DK”, and that the remaining characters are digits.
- Rule DK-R-010 fixed the text from: For Danish Suppliers the PaymentID is mandatory and MUST start with 71#, 73# or 75# (kortartkode) and CreditAccount/AccountID (Kreditornummer) is mandatory and MUST be exactly 8 characters long, when Payment means equals 93 (FIK) to: For Danish Suppliers using PaymentMeansCode 93, PaymentID is mandatory. The first three characters of the PaymentID MUST be 71#, 73# or 75# (kortartskode), and PayeeFinancialAccount/ID MUST be exactly 8 characters long.
- Rule DK-R-017 For Danish Customers it is mandatory to specify schemeID as "0184" (DK CVR-number) when PartyLegalEntity/CompanyID is used for AccountingCustomerParty
Changes to other BIS documents:
Order transaction (T01)
- Added business terms and elements for the delivery address on line level. Previously, only an identifier for the line level delivery address existed and with this change a full physical address and location name are possible to provide
Despatch Advice (T16)
- Added business terms and elements for additional item properties on ItemInstance.
Changes to all PINT documents, these changes come into effect on 9 March 2026:

- Rule - Only one Invoice total tax amount may be present in the document currency (ibt-110).
Malaysia:

- Added TaxTotal and ItemPriceExtension under line items to align with LHDN requirements.
