Summary:

Error: Restricted Access, on accessing the Purchase order field (through 3 dots-picker) in Personal mode (professional view)

 

 

Cause:

There are 2 views for personal users, Simple View and Professional View.

The Professional view offers a view of the PO data and its lines, which is matching data, hence an order matching right is required for this purpose- 'Manage Invoices in order matching'.

 

Resolution:

 

• Go to the user role in P2P Admin. Provide 'Manage Invoices in order matching' user rights to the required user role.

            

 

• Once this right is provided user will see the below screen by clicking on 3 dots. And will be able to select PO items.

           

 

• In the Simple view, no additional rights are required because it does not show the PO data and line but only the PO numbers. As shown in below screen.
