Instructions:

How Email Notifications Work:

When an import task fails (e.g., supplier import, user import, etc.), the Basware system automatically sends a notification email to a configured email address.

This email contains details about the failed task, allowing users to take corrective action.

 

System Configuration Rules:

1. The system configuration in Basware allows only one email address to be specified for these notifications.

Multiple email addresses cannot be added directly to the configuration.

2. To notify multiple users, a Distribution List (DL) must be created within your organization’s email system (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, etc.).

Steps to Add or Update Notification Recipients

1. If you want multiple people to receive notifications, create a DL in your corporate email system and add the desired recipients to it.

2. Once the DL is created, provide the DL email address to the Basware Support team.

3. The Basware Support team will update the configuration to use the DL email address as the notification recipient.

4. After the update, all members of the DL will receive the system notifications for failed import tasks.
