Summary:

Some invoices require confidential marking, and their content should be visible only to specific users. For example, employee health or pension-related invoices should be accessible only to HR employees.

When an invoice is confidential, all images and attachments related to that document are not displayed to users without specific permission.

 

Make sure:

The " Manage invoice confidentiality " user right is required to view the images and attachments of confidential invoices. Professional and Personal Mode users have separate user rights. Please contact your Basware AP Administrator to request this right

A user without access will see invoices as shown below.

Same is the case in list view. User cannot see image of the confidential invoice.

 

 

Instructions:

An invoice can be set as confidential from Professional mode in any silo (My Tasks, Received, Matching Workflow, Transfer, Search, and Details view menu), and can also set invoice as confidential from Personal mode.

Mark As Confidential is shown in the actions drop-down list:

 

Remove Confidentiality is shown as well.

 

 

Additional Information:

• Invoice image and attachments are hidden unless the user has permission to view confidential invoices. The rest of the data is visible to the user. Only invoices and Attachments cannot be seen by them.
• The option is available only for a single invoice and only when the invoice is editable (i.e., not historical, waiting for transfer, etc.)
