Dear customers,
We are informing you about the upcoming release of CloudScan 3.0. This new version introduces few corrections and a key change: the application is now signed with a new code-signing certificate.
Because of this change, when the automatic update is rolled out, Windows may treat the upgrade as a new installation rather than a standard update. This is expected behavior and does not affect the integrity or security of the application.
If you experience installation or update warnings, please ensure that the GlobalSign Code Signing Root Certificate (the certificate authority for our new signing certificate) is trusted on your Windows devices. This can be verified through the Windows Trusted Root Certification Authorities store. Most environments already trust GlobalSign by default, but verifying this in advance will help avoid disruptions.
This opens the Certificate Manager for the current user.
Testing and Production Release Timeline
We recommend testing the new release in pre-production to ensure smooth deployment before the production release date. If you have any questions or run into issues, please contact our support team by raising a case via this link
