Summary:
This article explains how end users can switch between Simple view and Professional view in Basware AP.
Instructions:
- Once logged into Basware AP, click on your username, which is displayed in the top right corner of your view.

- Click on User settings in the drop-down menu that appears. The user settings view will open.
- Once in the User settings view, scroll down to find the Other settings section. Click on the right arrow corresponding to this section to expand it.
- Click on the edit button (indicated by the pencil icon) to the right of the section name.

- Scroll down to the Views in desktop mode section within the Other settings section.
- Select either the Simple or Professional view based on your preference for both the Invoices and spend plans and the Purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and goods receipts modules within Basware AP.
- Click on the Save button on the bottom right of the Other settings section to save your selection.

Simple view in Basware AP is optimized for the simple details and list views that are used in mobile devices.
Professional view is a desktop-optimized view for managing a large number of documents efficiently from a single page. It provides a list view with search, filtering, and customizable columns for handling tasks like invoices and spend plans. A split-screen option is also available, displaying the document list alongside the details of a selected item, allowing users to make decisions without opening the full document.
