Summary

Basware Message can send a variety of files like TXT, PDF or Postscript (PS).

In some cases, it is unable to send the files and displays the message:

• Error generating ps from pdf attachment: return code 3

This means that your file (document or attachment) is write protected and cannot be sent.

Resolution:

• In this case you have to edit the file properties to be able to send your document;
• This can be done by your IT or in case you need to do it yourself, right click on the file, select Properties and uncheck the Read-only option;

• Start the data transmission;
