Summary:
Basware Message can experience connectivity issues between the machine where it is installed and our Gateway servers.
Checklist:
Please check if the following error is displayed when a data transmission is initiated:
- Error uploading files: HTTP Authentication Failure: block truncated
Basware Message is sending your data encrypted with a certificate. If this error message appears, this certificate is damaged;
Resolution:
- First activate the option to see hidden files and folders;
- For Windows versions newer than Windows 7:
- For Windows Xp and Windows 7:
- Close the Basware Message software, and open one of these folders (depending on wether you are using First Businesspost Message or Basware Message):
- First Businesspost Message on Windows 7 32 Bit: C:\Program Files\First Businesspost\1stbp Message\
- First Businesspost Message on Windows 7 64 Bit: C:\Users\Public\First Businesspost\1stbp Message\
- Basware Message on Windows XP and Windows Server 2003: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Basware\Basware Message\
- Basware Message on Windows Vista, 8, 8.1,10 and Windows Server 2008 or newer: C:\ProgramData\Basware\Basware Message\
- Please note that in most cases this is in C:\ProgramData\Basware\Basware Message\
- Delete the file KeyStore.jks;
- Open the application.You will be asked for a password:
- If you want to protect your software with a password, just type in your password and press Yes. If you do not want a password, simply click on Yes and no password will be saved.
- Search for your Sender ID you are currently using;
- The Sender ID can be found by opening the Configuration of Basware Message;
- In Local Configuration you can find your ID;
- Write to us and mention your Sender id requesting to reset the Public key;
- After having confirmation from our Customer Support that your key was reset open Basware Message and click on Configuration;
- Go to Server Configuration and click on Exchange public keys;
- Confirm all upcoming notifications. A new keystore.jks file was created;
- Initiate a data transmission;
