What is a routing-number/GLN number?
A routing number is a unique identifier used on the BaswareONE platform to identify your company as a buyer or supplier.
Commonly used routing numbers are:
- The Global Location Number (GLN) is part of the GS1 systems of standards. It is a simple tool used to identify a location and can identify locations uniquely where required.
A GLN code can be requested via the GS1 website: http://www.gs1belu.org/
- A value added tax identification number or VAT identification number (VAT), which is an identifier used in many countries, including the countries of the European Union, for value added tax purposes.
Each company has an unique VAT-number and a unique GLN-code.
In order to route incoming/outgoing messages via BaswareONE, one of these values is used in order to correctly route and deliver your messages.
