Customers may send .zip files as a method of delivering files to Basware's e-invoice system (BT). However, .zip files are not sent with the e-invoice to the recipient.
All typical files such as .pdf, .xlsx, .doc and such are allowed as individual attachments.
If a customer would send .zip file, it will be unzipped and processed. All attachments are required to be mentioned in the e-invoice file (xml) and all attachments are required to be delivered to the BT-system before the xml is sent. When the xml arrives to BT-system all processes will start to deliver the e-invoice to the recipient. Please note, that the .zip file can contain the invoice data (xml) and all the relevant attachments.
