Summary:
Basware is offering standard updates for travel allowances for our customers. As standard updates we define, at least:
at the moment (17-July-2020) this list covers 245 country per diems (+2 Germany transportation "countries").
TEM per diem updates are created against the following country codes (ISO 3166-1 3-digit code)

Notes
(1) * Country area covers several time zones, so country will not have one
(2) ** For Kosovo, abbreviation KOS is not for official use
(3) *** The areas belonging to China, Hong Kong and Macao are defined both as separate countries and cities in China. This is because they have their own currency and in TEM currency has unanimous dependency to a country code.
(4) from the first of June 2020, Basware TEM SaaS allowance updates do not cover categories other countries like "Other countries, America", "Other countries, Africa". From now on, these country entries should now be marked as not in use.
(5) There are some areas belonging to independent countries, but might have some autonomic administration and a country code of their own. If these areas are a) geographically close to the mainland and/or b) belong to an independent country where Basware TEM has many customers, these areas are handled as travel destinations in the update files if a tax authority defines a different rate than generally in that country.
Currently, thus, the following areas are excluded in the country per diem updates:
ALA Åland Islands (Finland), BVT Bouvet Island (Norway), GGY Guernsey (UK), JEY Jersey (UK), IMN Isle of Man (UK), SJM Svalbard and Jan Mayen (Norway). The list may expand in the future if it is found reasonable.
