Full content:

The way the world does business has changed. Online ordering has now increased and the Basware Marketplace ensures you maintain a competitive advantage.

Basware Marketplace's Product Manager is the core product which allows you to create, manage and share content with your customers. Marketplace is the area where buyers complete their shopping, searching for the goods and services that you provide. The buyers select the items they need from Marketplace and submit them to you with a purchase order.

You can load content with our flexible and novel method: the Super Content Loader. You can also create items in the Product Manager user interface. Your customers can request content from you by creating and sharing an agreement with you.

For suppliers, Basware Marketplace has the following benefits:

Registering for the Basware Marketplace as a supplier

To provide content through the Basware Marketplace's Product Manager and share it with your customers, you must first be registered. All suppliers providing catalog content or punchouts must be registered because they will get access rights to the Basware Marketplace module “Product Manager” to update, for example, contact information or create catalogs.

Registering for Product Manager is simple and you only need to do it once. Once you have registered, you don’t need to register again to share content to other customers using the Basware Marketplace.

To register for Product Manager, you must first be invited by a customer. A customer can invite you by searching the Dun & Bradstreet database (*), then providing a valid email address from you. When your customer is inviting you, she /he searches through the Duns & Bradstreet database(*), and needs to provide at least one valid contact email address.

You will receive an email that contains a link and a password, so that you can confirm your details and accept the terms and conditions of using Product Manager.

Once you have registered, you will receive emails containing your username and password. You can now login and begin creating your content.

(*) You must have a DUNS number to be able to be found and then registered on the Basware Marketplace. The DUNS number identifies a company as being unique from any other in the Dun & Bradstreet Data Cloud. If you don’t have a DUNS number yet, you can create one. Follow those steps:

  1. Go to: https://www.dnb.com/choose-your-country.html
  2. Select region and look for the guide to obtain a DUNS number.
  3. Now your customer can invite you to trade on the Basware Marketplace.
