Basware Message LE:

• Basware Message LE is a more basic version of Basware Message;
• The LE version is completely pre-configured. This means that upon installation it will automatically configure the Local Path, Log Path and Virtual Message Printer;
• The LE version can be used to send PDF and Postscript (.ps). Postscript files are created when printing on the Basware Message Printer;

Basware Message:

• Basware Message can also process other file formats like TXT, PCL, HTML, ASCII (generally structured data formats such as EDIFACT or IDOC);
• This version can also handle files that contain multiple documents (invoices). It's splitting function for TXT and Postscript files can separate the file in individual invoices that will be sent separately;
• Please note that the PS splitting function is dependent on a third party program that is installed with the application called Ghostscript;
• Ghostscript handles the Postscript files but his capabilities are limited;
• On some installations it can malfunction and create non readable prints of your documents;
• The full version can also send data to several different servers simultaneously (for example, to the German and Global Gateways);
