Users may notice that certain records do not appear when using the Quick Filter on EXT tables, even though those records do exist in the system.
The EXT table search initially retrieves only the first 1000 rows.
The Quick Filter operates only on these first 1000 entries.
If the record you are looking for exists beyond the first 1000 rows, it will not appear when applying a Quick Filter, leading to the impression that the data is missing.
To accurately locate the desired record:
1. You can use Select Search Criteria to apply more precise filters and narrow down the dataset before retrieving results.
2. Once you have filtered the list to a smaller set of records, you may then use the Quick Filter if additional filtering is needed.
3. This ensures the record falls within the visible dataset and can be successfully found.
This behavior is expected system functionality and not an issue with data integrity.
