Summary:

 

Basware message service doesn't send any logs about faulty documents.

No error in the application, but only in the logs from the log folder.

 

Checklist:

 

• Basware message service needs to be scheduled to run at specific hours or time frames (example in the below screenshot):

• "Mail to administrator"  option needs to be enabled and a valid email address and email server need to be added:

• check for Java related logs into the log folder:

ACTIVITY MESSAGE: Error uploading files: javax.activation.DataSource

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax.activation.DataSource

Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: javax.activation.DataSource

Install Corretto 8. using the following URL: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/corretto/latest/corretto-8-ug/downloads-list.html

Go to C:\Program Files\Basware\Basware Message and add the path to Corretto 8 to message.lap and messageservices.lap:
