Error Scenario:-
This troubleshooting guide applies when users encounter login errors while trying to access AP through the PM interface.

Troubleshooting Steps
- Log in to Purchase Manager.
- Navigate to admin wheel > users > Permissions

- Enter the last name of the user and hit “Filter,” and then select the appropriate user from the dropdown. Once the user is selected, click on “Retrieve Permissions”.

- Check whether the user has the required permissions or belongs to the appropriate user group with permissions 4202 and 4203. These permissions should be either directly assigned by verifying the checkbox or inherited by the user group.

- If not, assign the correct permissions and then ask the user to retry after logging out and logging in again.
- If the permission is already assigned, go to the user profile Admin wheel > users > users

- Search for the user and edit the user profile.
- Check for the Field name “AP Automation Username”.

- Log into the AP >> Access AP Administration Panel >> Locate the same user in AP System from the admin menu, select users >> use the search function to find the same user

- Cross-Reference Username Values >> In the AP user profile, locate the "Username" field

Critical Verification: Ensure that the "AP Automation Username" value in the purchase manager exactly matches the "Username" value in the AP user profile. Both values must be identical for proper authentication.
Data Integrity: Any discrepancies between these two username fields will prevent successful authentication
System Requirements
This procedure assumes administrative access to both:
- PM system (with admin wheel access)
- AP system (with admin page access)
Note: If you lack the necessary permissions to perform these verification steps, please contact your system administrator.
