P2P - Forward Tasks


In Tasks, you can see the list of tasks that are waiting for your action. These guidelines tell you how to forward a task that has been assigned to you, to another user. You can forward many types of tasks, such as approval, review, receiving, or finalizing tasks. The task can be for any available document type.

  1. Go to Tasks.
  2. To find the task that you want to forward, select a tab at the top of the page to filter the tasks by document type, such as Purchase requisitions or Invoices.
  3. Click  next to the action button. All available options are shown in a drop-down list
  4. Click Forward.
  5. Search for the recipients by starting to type the name of the recipient in the Recipient field.
    The system shows the names that contain the letters you type.
  6. Click the name of the recipient that you want to add to the Recipient field. 
  7. If you want to remove a selected recipient, click the next to the name.
  8. For some tasks, you can add many recipients. To do that, repeat the steps 4-5.
  9. If necessary, you can add a reason for forwarding the task in the Comment field.
  10. Click Forward.
    The task is forwarded to the selected recipients, and the task disappears from your task list.
