Summary:
Basware Message can experience connectivity issues between the machine where it is installed and our Gateway servers.
Checklist:
Please check if the following error is displayed when a data transmission is initiated:
- Error uploading files: Server returned HTTP response code: 403
Resolution:
- Your firewall, proxy or virus-scanner refuses the connection to our server. In this case please inform your IT to enable our server address found here: Firewall Information. If the error is still active, proceed to step 2;
- You are not yet enabled to send data with Basware Message on our server. In this case, if you are sure that you have checked step 1 described above, please contact our Customer Support, so that we may enable the Basware Message function stating also your Sender ID
- The Sender ID can be found by opening the Configuration of Basware Message;

- In Local Configuration you can find your ID;

- After receiving confirmation that the connection is enabled from our Customer Support, open the Configuration again and in the Server Configuration tab, click on Exchange Public Key;

- If the Key exchange was correct, click on OK and start the data transmission;
