Summary:

During the data transmission with Basware Message, if the files are tampered with (have either been changed during the upload or are damaged), you can receive the following error message "java.io.EOFException".

Checklist

• Go to the folder where the files are stored and try to open them. If they have been damaged you should receive an error. If there is no error proceed with the resolution steps.

Resolution:

• If the file is not damaged and you have a virus scanner, it could be changing the file during the upload. Please make sure that it does not interfere with the data transmission. You can either add the application as an exception or do a test by deactivating the Scan;
• In some cases, the error can be generated by a proxy server in the same manner as described above. Please make sure that your proxy server is not interfering with the file upload;
