What is the issue?

Error while doing order match that "No purchase orders found that could be associated with the invoice" even if the order is available and meet the association rules.

Cause: 

If the order is available and association rules are matching then need to check the time of the order created (If we are using P2P Purchase).

If Matching happens within few seconds to a couple of minutes from the order creation time then order cannot be matched as order created in Basware becomes available for matching after 2-3 minutes of order creation timestamp.

Resolution:

• Open the Invoice history of the invoice which receives the error and check at what time stamp the message is recorded to the invoice history.
• Then go to purchase order search and search for the order.
• Go to purchase order history and check the time stamp when the order task is completed.
• Compare the time stamp of the message in the invoice with that of the time stamp when order task is completed.
• If there is a difference of few seconds to couple of minutes then wait for 2-3 minutes and either use Cancel and resend option in invoice (for automatch) or do manual match to the invoice

NOTE: This article is valid only if we are using P2P Purchase for creating orders and is not valid if we are importing orders.
