What is Guardian?

Guardian is a document visibility solution.

 

What is the purpose of Guardian?

The Guardian enables AR's (account receivable) and AP's (account payable) to track their document lifecycle status and enable proactive exception handling after documents exits AR processing and before documents enters AP processing.​

 

For whom is the Guardian intended?

Basware receiving customers (AP Automation customers and Network only customers).

 

Which functionality is there for AP in invoice lifecycle management? 

1. Document Hub, contains central monitoring  & navigation tool.
2. Document Filter, contains exception handling hub. 
3. Invoice enrichment, contains foundations for secure and scalable operations.
4. supplier collaboration, contains centralized supplier communication.

 

What does the Guardian look like?

Basware AP Automation customers (Buyers) will see the function "Monitor Documents" in their AP system.

Network customers (Buyers), not using Basware AP Automation, need a customized URL provided by Basware.

When is the Guardian available?

Basware Sales will inform our customers about the Guardian from June 2025 on wards. It is expected that from late 2025 customers will use Guardian.
