Issue: When creating a Spend Plan, the system displays the following error:

“No Bank name found in the supplier data.”

 

 

Cause: The issue was caused by an incorrect configuration in the Organization Settings.

 

The option “Bank account is mandatory for supplier” was set to True, which requires all supplier records to contain bank information.

 

In this case, the supplier used for the Spend Plan did not have bank details entered, resulting in the validation error.

 

 

Resolution:

To resolve the issue:

1. The organization setting “Bank name/account is mandatory for supplier” was updated from True to False.

2. This change allowed the system to bypass the requirement for supplier bank details.

3. After the setting was updated, the customer was able to proceed with creating the Spend Plan without errors.
