NemHandel Schematron v1.17.2 – F-LIB404 VAT Validation Change


Summary:

From 18 May 2026, NemHandel introduced Schematron version 1.17.2 for OIOUBL 2.1 invoice validation.This version was released as a hotfix to address an issue with the F-LIB404 VAT validation rule. The Danish Business Authority has therefore designed OIOUBL schematron version 1.17.2 to OIOUBL 2.1 as a hotfix. 

Cause:

The invoice can be rejected when the VAT codes used on the invoice lines or in a document-level Allowance/Charge are not correctly represented in the invoice's TaxTotal.

This validation is performed by the NemHandel Schematron rule F-LIB404. The rule checks the VAT codes in both directions to ensure that the VAT information used throughout the invoice is correctly reflected in the TaxTotal.
