While reviewing the reported quality feedback, we identified one or more values that were captured correctly based on the agreed-upon and implemented rules and logic, which have been documented* during the project phase. However, according to the feedback received, the value was different from what you had expected. This reference document contains the details and rules specified by the implementation project team and is maintained by Basware with your approval.
* Implemented project documentation depending on the service:
- Data Capture Guide (DCG)
- Scan and Capture Specification and Validation Guide (SVG)
- Scoping document (SD)
To deliver the expected value, a change is required in the data capture environment. Basware is detailing the proposed changes and associated costs and requesting that you review and approve or reject the implementation of such a change request if you would like to proceed further.
The feedback team observed that the Data Capture Guide (DCG) states that the purchase order number is an alphanumeric field, and the string length is always 6 characters. As per your feedback, the expected PO number to be captured has a length of 8 characters. If desired, a Change Request can then be proposed to change the string length rule from 6 to 8 characters.
If you wish to proceed further with the Change Request, please communicate this in the associated feedback ticket.
The Basware technical implementation team first investigates the proposed change in greater detail. Basware will then provide you with a complete description of the proposed change and cost estimation for review and approval.
The Basware team is waiting for your decision on how to move forward with this proposed Change Request based on your feedback.
Basware Support team, please initiate the Change Request process if requested by the user.
If you have any further inquiries or suggestions related to the "Change Request required" finding, we welcome your feedback. Please contact Basware Support by filing a support case.
