If a Travel Plan has been created by mistake instead of a Travel Claim, it can be copied and converted into a Travel Claim. This helps avoid unnecessary work, as all information from the original Travel Plan is transferred to the new Travel Claim.
Converting a Travel Plan into a Travel Claim
- Log in to WebAdmin as an administrator or travel secretary.
- Select Create New.
- Choose:
- Document Type
- Person on whose behalf the travel claim will be created (in this example, Test, Tiina)
- After making your selections, click Next.
On the screen that opens, select Copy from document, then open the desired document from the list of documents provided by the system.
The system will create a travel claim based on the selected travel plan.
The resulting travel claim will contain exactly the same information as the original travel plan. In addition, the Comment field will display the reference number of the original travel plan from which the travel claim was copied.
Alternatively, the traveller can copy their own travel plan and create the travel claim themselves using the same process.
