Overview
Since 12 August 2025, 05:00 UTC, we have been experiencing an outage affecting Basware Portal services. Customers may encounter:
- Intermittent errors when accessing services such as Portal, Vendor Manager, etc.
- Delays in syncing business document status events.
- Intermittent Gateway Timeout errors when using Basware Portal.
- Delay in PEPPOL outbound delivery.
- Intermittent internal sub-system document transfer failures (BT to ONP).
Current Status
A fix was successfully deployed to the production environment at 13:00 UTC, and initial performance results show positive improvements. The system is currently processing the backlog generated during the incident.
Once the backlog is cleared, we will move into the aftercare phase, focusing on the impacted documents.
Degradation Timeline

- Testing Phase (as of 14 August 2025, 11:30 UTC): Fix deployed to pre-production, undergoing validation.
- Current Status (as of 14 August 2025, 14:00 UTC): Fix deployed to production at 13:00 UTC, with initial results showing positive improvements. The system is processing the backlog generated during the incident.

- Access to Basware Portal and related services may be intermittently unavailable.
- Document status event updates may be delayed.
- Some operations may result in Gateway Timeout errors.
