To change a Light account to a Strong account and therefore be able to make use of all the benefits of myBasware, you simply have to submit a request to upgrade. This upgrade procedure starts automatically, when you click on a service to which you as a Light user have no access.

You are hereby requested to authenticate yourself using your EID (electronic identity card). After a successful identification using your electronic identity card, you then get access to the service requested by you.

If you do not have an EID, you can get this by simply requesting from the Population Department at your local authority.
