Insights - Difference between Touchless rate in Analytics and Insights

Summary:

You might experience a lower touchless rate in Insights than Analytics.

The purpose of this article is to clarify the difference between the touchless rates in Analytics and Insights.

Explanation:

The difference stems from the way the touchless rate is calculated in each module:

Analytics:  The touchless rate is based on the following logic:

An invoice is considered touchless if all tasks are executed automatically.

In this logic, we could have 'cancel and resend' done, which gave a false positive, meaning the invoice was touched but shows as touchless. Similarly, a manually created invoice can have all the tasks executed automatically, whereas someone from AP has spent time on it doing manual work.

Insights: The calculation for the touchless rate has been refined to better align with the system's setup.

An invoice is considered touchless only if all of the following criteria are met:

1. The invoice was not created manually (invoice was imported)

2. All tasks are executed automatically

3. All actions are automatic.

This tighter definition in Insights ensures that the touchless rate more accurately reflects the customer’s specific configuration and setup.
