Resolve Unexpected Error Issue in P2P Analytics by Clearing the Browser History


There is a known issue where user encounters an Unexpected Error message when using P2P Analytics, which further prevents the user to continue using the product. This issue occurs especially when using Microsoft Edge or Microsoft Internet Explorer browsers but can occur with other browsers as well. The issue can be resolved by clearing the cached data and files in browser history. This article describes how to clear your browser’s cached data and files when using Edge and Internet Explorer, and there are links to instructions how to perform the same operation on different browses.

Example of the Unexpected Error message

To clear browser history on Microsoft Edge, Windows 10:

  1. Log out from P2P Analytics.
  2. To access Microsoft Edge settings, select Favorites > Settings.
  3. Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear.
  4. Select Cached data and files and select Clear.
  5. Log in to P2P Analytics.
    The issue should not occur anymore. If you still encounter the issue after logging out from P2P Analytics and clearing browser’s cached data and files, try refreshing the page. If this does not help, contact Basware Support.

To clear browser history on Microsoft Internet Explorer 11:

  1. Log out from P2P Analytics.
  2. In Microsoft Internet Explorer, select Tools, point to Safety. and select Delete browsing history.
  3. Select Temporary Internet files and website files and select Delete.
  4. Log in to P2P Analytics.
    The issue should not occur anymore. If you still encounter the issue after logging out from P2P Analytics and clearing browser’s cached data and files, try refreshing the page. If this does not help, contact Basware Support.
